The blinking light signifies to a repair technician with capacitors or circuits are having an issue they can diagnose the problem via the amount of blinks in between pauses however it will require a technician and some specific tools and schematics to fix and it may be cheaper if its no longer under warranty to purchase a new one

Hope this helped

Remove power, remove the back, look on the circuit boards for anything that says F1,F2 etc. these are fuses test them with a multimeter replace any bad ones.

when you turn the set on and, off do you hear a soft click? if you do not; the power relay is at fault if it does click a section of your power supply is at fault.

Bulb overheated and probably blew, they are made of mercury most times so don't touch them they should be in a housing, that could be it. If most times dust gets in there and the fan gets weighted down with dust if its up against the wall no air flow, so there ya go, try that. good luck

Could be a couple of things.
The good news is that the LCD panel is working, albeit briefly.
It definitely sounds like it's repairable, though.

Remove one at a time the Y sus and Y buffer cables that go to the power board and see if the set stays on then, you may have a distorted pic, replace the board that makes the set stay on...there are some transistors on the buffer board that give issues a lot and I'd guess that's where your issue is at

LG 50PG3000 SOUND BUT NO PICTURE

This sounds like a screen problem, possibly the internal connecting cable (LVDS) which connects from the main board to the screen may have become loose. If not a replacement screen would be required.
