The Dash is only configured to handle up to 2GB for an SD card.

4gb microsd works... ignore the fools who say otherwise
it will not work if you're on wm5
you need wm6 or 6.1 in order for SDHC cards to be recognized.

Update to 6.1, should fix the problem.

Wont read sd card 4 gb

You will have to upgrade your dash to windows 6 if you want it to read higher compacity micro sd cards. This method i free and is the only way their is no unlock code to make the the software compatible, you must upgrade it. once upgraded you can use up to a 8gb micro sd, i have not tried a higher card than that.

Recocnizing micro sd card

The original Blackjack will not recognize anything larger than 2gb. Sorry, but you just wasted buying those 4 gb. cards. I found this out the hard way too when I bought my daughter a 4gb card for her Blackjack. I have a BJ2 which will recognize the 4gb cards.
