Question about AMC Multimedia R9 5.1 Channels Receiver
Hi, When a receivers knob does not work, you need to service the knob by using a methylated spirit and wipe the knob area. When wiping keep turning the knobs continuously.
But if it does not work, thatmeans you will change the potentiometer meter inside the receiver.

the proposed solution led to the real solution. wiping the knob didn't make sense given the conditions under which it stopped working, and as far as replacing the pot meter, I was given no direction as to where this pot would be found. if I hadn't taken the knob off to clean the contacts I wouldn't have found the reset button so the end justifies the means. thanks for trying and hope that the reset button location will be helpful for others
