Question about Toro Lawn Mower With Toro Power Tools
I need to change the 1116183 belt on my toro model # 74105 mower. What is the best way to get over the hydraulic line since the belt has to go on each side of it. Is it easier to to remove the hose at the pump or at the connector to the other hoses?

This is a very simple solution, When you pull the lever it simply pushes a pulley into the belt to make it tight. Most of the time the belt has come off or maybe the cable broke. Turn the mower over and you will see the belt. My money is on the belt off.

Try taking the back wheels off and lubricating the joint cogs and wheels with ,say, 3 in 1 oil . The dealer recommended doing this once every couple of years as preventative maintenance when I bought mine , and it has solved sticking problems for me .
