The washer will not complete the cycle. It will not drain and spin.

There could be two problems...The drain could be clogged, or the water pump could be bad. Or the belt that runs the pump is slipping or broken.
1 Fill washer with water and wait for the timer to get to the drain mode.
2 Unplug the washer from the electric outlet.
3 Open the case, and disconnect the water hose from the outlet of the water pump.
4 If you get water pouring out from the pump, then plug that up and check the hose to the sewer. If that is clogged, then you have found the problem.
5 Some washers have a self cleaning filter in that hose somewhere. Check that to be sure it is working properly.
6 Reassemble hose from step 3.
7 Plug washer back in. If it pumps out now, then you are done. If it doesn't, then the water pump is probably defective, so replace it.
8 Reassemble washing machine case...you're done...

My washer only has hot water no cold water and the cycles seem not to be working thisis pnly 2 years old

From the description you give I suspect the hot water valve is bad.

One thing to try is to turn the hot water off and remove the hose and check for obstructions on the inlet screen.

How do I remove the belt so I can remove the Water Pump?

If you are referring to serpentine belt, Thisis how to do it. Lift the hood and prop it open. Find thelock nut on the serpentine belt and use a wrench to loosen it. Turn the adjustment bolt counterclockwiseto remove the serpentine belt. This bolt is located under the water pump hose.Remember how you remove the belt so that you can reroute the new beltcorrectly. Install the new serpentine belt by securingit on the pulleys in the same route as the old belt. Check the belt routing onthe underside of the hood to make sure you get it right. Create tension in the back of the belt byturning the adjustment bolt clockwise. Check that the belt is on each pulleyproperly. The belt should be centered on each pulley, not on the edge.Tightenthe lock nut to secure the serpentine belt in place.

Does not do back and forth

The unit does not actually go backwards, it has a backup valve in line that will tow it out of corners, stajrs or loveseats that it may get hung up in. Thisis a small football shaped thing about eighteen inches from the wall in the hose. If yours dosen't have one and you think it need's one. (Did not come with all models) One can be added between the wall hose and the first floating hose. This can be done by your store if you bring the hose into them.

Water pump seal leaking - engine temp normal

HI. you will need to replace the water pump asap. once the seal is breached its a done deal. Its only a matter of time when the seal completely fails, causing a very serious over heating situation that will damage this fragile engine.

It would be best to drop the engine, but can be done by only removeing 3 of the engine support bolts (only loosen the the one under the drivers seat) when the alternator and bracket is removed and idler bracket is removed you can take all bolts out of the water pump and by prying the engine to the drivers side the water pump will just barley come off.

I just completed this very job it took me about 5hours!! good luck

Miele washing machine model W713 front load - issues

If it is leaking from the waste pump area it may be blocked by a small piece of clothing like a sock or something similar! This will also cause it to take too long to complete a cycle. Remove the rubber hose onto the waste pump and check inside the hose and the pump, make sure the pump spins freely and that nothing is stuck in the hose pipes leading to the pump
