1 Answer

Cyber shot viewer

When I imported my pictures a month ago I could see them. Now, I go to view my old pics after importing recent ones and the images shown are blanck with ? marks inside the blank boxes. Did I loose my pictures? How can I view them now that they have blank boxes in their spot?

I suggest to check in the cyber-shot-dsc-n2 user manual in the section about image resolution (taking pics).

How to save a picture to a memory stick,,

Hi,

Even if the Memory Stick Duo is inserted in the Camera, the images will not be saved in the Memory Stick Duo until the capacity of the Internal Memory is full. To save the images in the Internal Memory to the Memory Stick Duo, select the EXPORT option from the Viewing Menu of the Camera. Touch the MENU icon when viewing images to select the IMPORT option.
There are two option in the Viewing Menu of the Camera (Export and Import). Export option is to save from Internal Memory to Memory Stick and Import is for saving from Memory Stick to the Internal Memory.
This Camera is having 4GB of Internal Memory, hence the images captured will get saved in the Internal Memory first and then to Memory Stick once the Internal Memory is full.

Thanks for using FixYa

Copy your pictures off the memory stick.
Send the camera in for repair. There have been some issues with image on cameras. Sony may repair this for you.

Setup and loading pictures..

my computer makes the windows uploder pop-up. when it pops up make sure it says "cyber-shot photo viewer" or something of the like.

then right click on the little binoculars in your taskbar (look down at the far right corner where all those little icons are, it's called "cyber-shot viewer media check tool"

right click, import settings, then specify a file to drop the images.

thats the only thing i can think of. call sony if that doesn't help. good luck
