Thanks so much. I had found my book and followed these exact instructions - it worked. Glad it was so simple and not some big problem. Again - thanks!

There is a button on the far middle right on the front of the unit that needs to held down for about 5 seconds.

That button will read:
"DAMP DRY BEEP"
*BEEPER ON/OFF.

Hold that button till you hear the unit respond. Now you should hear the sounds. If no sounds, you may have to reset the computer and will need to unplug the unit for 5 min and then plug it back in. You may have to hold the beeper button down to turn on the sound.

If that does not work then you will need a new display board that is right behind the front panel of the unit.

Good luck and I hope that I have helped you.

Dryer not drying clothes

Hello, does the dryer drum turn? If the dryer drum is moving. Is the dryer blowing hot air, cold air, no air at all? Now, if it's doing everything mention above escept blowing hot air then you'll need a new heating element. If not blow air, then the drum belt is broken, belt off, or the drum motor has gone south. It was put for a quitt. Which mean in New Mexico, they fired me, I don't work, no job, finished, I'am out of here, don't bury me with my wires exposed. I hope I was some help to you. have a nice day and be safe, GB. stewbison

I push the button to dry my clothes and it is still damp. The dial has a 30 minute side on each side. It is a new machine. I'm used to setting the dial one time and my clothes are dry.

Make sure you don't have the vent kinked or stopped up with lint. Sounds like your dryer may be overheating. The vent connects to the back of the dryer and pipes to the outdoors.

Dryer drys but the timer dial does not turn to stop automatic

Hi, You will need to change the timer. The timer motor has gone bad. You can test it by removing the back cover on the control panel and test the two wires going to the timer motor to see if it is getting 120V. If it is getting voltage, it should turn.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks
Vic
