Question about Itronix Duo-Touch Tablet PC

Open Question

Screen is severly faded. Looks like it has needs to be degaussed.

I have a first gen duo-touch. I was doing so updates on windows update. After I uploaded my updates I restarted my computer and the screen went black. It is 3am now here in San Diego CA. Anyway, in the dark I can barely read the screen. Well only the right side. So I did what I could by going to the Control Panel, then Display and there I saw the screen settings were at there highest settings. It has the appearance of a screen that has been magnatized. So I think it needs to be degaussed. I did not have any other eletronic device around cause this. I did have the power cord over the screen when this happened. Could that have done it? But I don't know how to do that. I have already turned it on an off a couple of times but nothing has happened. What can I do to fix this?

How to get iPad to update

To get updates on your IPad, you need to be connected to your internet. Touch your "Settings" button on your screen. Scroll down to "General" and touch to open. On the right hand side, you'll see "Software Update". Touch that to open it. You should see the update available. At the bottom, it should say "Download and Install. Touch it to open and it should start installing. (After you enter your passcode, if you have one.)

Download ios 6.0

For the iPad first generation (A1219) before iOS 5 to update is only possible with connecting the device to iTunes on a computer. Plug it into your computer and open up itunes under devices click on your ipad and then click on check for update.
- but this model supports only iOS 5
- NO iOS 6/7/8 !
for all other models:
There are two ways to upgrade the iOS version of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch - via connecting the device to iTunes on a computer
- or directly from within the device, but only since iOS 5, it is possible to upgrade the iOS version without the need to connect the iOS device to a computer (over-the-air update)
just go to: settings - general - software update

How to get on my iPad a 5.0 or a 6.0 ios

First Generation iPads can use iOS 5
- but iOS 6 / 7 / 8 need an iPad 2 or newer and are not compatibel with first gen. iPhone
-updates can be made in iTunes connected to a computer or under settings - general - software update
Upgrade iOS from within iOS device
(valid for iOS 5 and above)

Since iOS 5, it is possible to upgrade the iOS version without the need to connect the iOS device to a computer (over-the-air update). To upgrade to iOS 6/7/8, simply navigate to Settings > General > Software Update. The screenshot below demonstrates how to do so on an iPad, but this is also valid for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

I changed the operating system now i have windows 7 on the compaq tc1100 and now i can not use the wireless how can i fix this??

Access the manufacturer's web-site:

and you'll see that no device-drivers for Windows 7 are available from HP.

This might mean that HP has submitted the device-drivers for your wireless adapter to Microsoft.
If so, try: and do a search for "optional hardware updates".
If there is a device-driver, Windows Update will offer it for downloading/installing.

Windows 7 is not recognizing the touch screen on the asus t91mt

Hi, you need to "Update the Drivers;" there are a few ways to do so, follow each to complete the Updates. First, go to the "Control Panel," find the "applet, [Device Manager], open it, and scroll to find the "Touch Screen component. Next, [Alt click], or "right click to open, in the (Top) of the window there will be the "Driver" tab, open the next window, and select the "Update Drivers" button, follow the instructions afterward, click on the "OK button and "restart" the computer. The next way is to click on the "Start Button" open "All Programs. Scroll to find Microsoft [Windows] Updates, and select to {Search for new updates}. The third way is to go to the "Manufacturer" ie. ASUS, and download the drivers needed from the "Website." "Rating the solution if it helped is more than appreciated, thanks for using "Fix'Ya."
