Hi:
If this is a panasonic type television the this code is related to a failed power supply unit. Especially if its a LCD and or Plasma.

Also a Model and Manufacture of the unit would of been nice to know to really determine the problem.

NLT-37HD1 Tv is not turning on the red standby light keeps on blinking .Before some times started after the blinking of red light and we turned of and on it started after a few attempts . Thanks

Google is your friend. https://www.manualslib.com/products/Nec-Nlt-37hd1-2892043.html

Try unplugging it; often reboots the chip/computer.
This is an LCD TV; often a blinking red light means a projection lamp is starting/trying t? start but in ¥our case it's probably just an old TV.
BTW...a new 4K 65" TV is less than $800 at Costco....

Sony LCD KF-50WE610 no picture-red light blinking

3 times standby red light blinking shows that lamp cover has not been placed back properly after lamp replacement.
Make sure lamp cover, (the first thing that you removed to replace lamp in tv) is fixed securely then turn tv On.

I pressed the sleep button by accident and the pic and sound went off and the stand by/timer red light started blinking. what does it mean?

Depends on how many times it blinks, just count the blinks Example: if it blink 2 times then pauses and blink 5 times then the code would be 25 and so on

Once you have this code, please post it.

Code to enter service mode

Forget the service mode. The tv power supply regulator has probably failed.

'standby' mode and akb error number

AKB 66 in self diagnostic test means...TV goes to standby (shut-off) for AKB problem 66 times. AKB is White-Balance signal and it is not proper or maintained in your TV. So error signal produced and TV goes to shut-down state.
Regardnig Standby button, its available on remote only. If you push TV Power switch, TV will switch ON, push it again to OFF TV. Power Button on remote set TV in standby status and you dont need to push power button of TV itself.

Sony kp-53s10

Power supply or scan failure is the usual cause. You will require service for this set.

Sony Wega KP-FW46 - Standby Flashing 10 Times

Remotes can be ordered from various websites, I would check ebay, sony, those type of websites. The standby light flashing means your bulb on the TV needs to be replaced.
Good luck.
