To enter the adjustment mode, press the UP, DOWN, and I buttons simultaneously for three seconds. Press the I button until the feature requiring adjustment is displayed:
• HL —High Limit.
• LL— Low Limit.
• Ldf —Low Limit differential.
Then press the UP and/or DOWN buttons to move the set point to
the desired value. After 60 seconds without any button inputs, the
control will automatically return to the READ mode.

(copied from honeywell's instructions)

to clarify the differential is cut in minus the cut out.
Hope i can be some help to you.

Aquastat pops reset when reaching temp.

Aquastat cycling controls do not have a reset button. What you are looking at is a manual reset limit switch. That is a safety control set at the MAXIMUM allowable temperature for the boiler to attain. More than likely the actual cycling control is not cycling at the correct temperature allowing the overtemp condition. The cycling control will be very close in external appearance to the limit switch but it will not have the red reset button and it is wired in series with the limit control and will turn the boiler off and on automatically based on its setpoint.

If aquastat wirings are ok, and control module had been set up properly, the the furnace should start.
Check if bypassing the control the furnace starts, if it starts then check aquastat wirings.
If it depends on the furnace, check the valve, the safety sensor and the ignitor.
Here is the guide to set up the Aquastat control:

Where do i adjust boiler temp on a gas fired boiler

difficult to say just where the temperature control is on your system. it will likely be an immersion type control located some on or near the boiler. it should have a temperature range scale on it.

Why does the reset button on the aquastat keep tripping every time boiler finished a cicle

Hi, this is because the boiler aquastat is faulty! Change it out as the contacts are worn out causing it to trip the stat. I have seen this so many times. Please let me know.

Does the boiler thermostat control the heat of the radiators as well as the hot water temperature? Does the thermostat control the water temperature and the pump - as our pump seems to be on all the...

There should be a control called an aquastat that regulates the temperature of the boiler. The thermostat will turn on the circulator to start the flow of water through the radiators. If the water coming back from the radiators is very cold, a control will shut off the circulator until the boiler can come up to a predetermined temperature then start the flow of water again. If you have a tankless coil for domestic hot water, you now have a triple aquastat that maintains the temperature for domestic as well as the boiler temp. So yes the boiler thermostat (aquastat) does control the heat of the radiators and domestic hot water. No the pump is regulated by your house thermostat. You should take an amp draw on the boiler and componants to find out what is drawing more electricity than it should and popping your fuse.

I would suspect a water circulation problem, most likely air in the system, if the water can't flow it will overheat.

If the problem persists after bleeding check to make sure the pump is running

No heating and no hot water, my boiler won't fire up

If there is a hi-limit switch, maybe it's open, reset the switch, and monitor the temperature, if the temp. increases over the set temp. replace stat, and clean lime off from the tank, if does not have a filtering system

What would the correct high and lo and diff settings for the Honeywell L8124A Aquastat I have a wood fired boiler with the oil fired boiler side by sides,

I would say high if you need cooling. If the tempature is cool enough for you then set it to low.If you are hot and need more cooling then high.

I have a Honeywell L7224U1002 aquastat and I am unsure how to turn the temperature down. The water is 180 degrees.

I fixed it by holding in the 3 puch buttons for 3 seconds and then I was able to lower the temp by using the up and down buttons.
