I would start with a strip and re-build using the age old method of only the bare minimum to obtain a boot to bios first eg 1 stick of ram and if you have on-board graphics then use that.
unplug power supply and re-connect etc to ensure its not a loose power connector.

double check any and ALL board jumpers (take em off and put em back on)

disconnect EVERYTHING else

If you get a boot then its something you took out (yup all the cards came out didn't they ?)

Add one item at a time till you find the bad one.

1. floppy
2. hard drive
3. CD ROM or DVD (one at a time if you have more than one)
4. more ram
5 graphics card
6 additional cards one at a time
etc Also double check that te motherboard is not grounding out anywhere it should not !!! A wrongly placed board standoff can fry mobo's If you need any further assistance reply to this post Bob

If you hear a continous "Beep" and nothing shows on the screen try to check Your Ram/s, Reaseat it/them, make sure that it is inserted and seated properly on the motherbaord.

Acer 5742g Beep at boot up

I have a problem that looks like this one.

At boot up, after the POST, each time the HDD led blinks, the laptop produces a loud "beep", and refuses to boot, as if this phenomenon prevented the HDD to be read.

If I press the power button, it stops beeping. When I release it, it starts beeping again.

If I press F8 at the beginning and then ask for a normal boot, It boots normally. Anyway, in windows, I have some strange activity, like I would continually pressing Alt+Tab. If I press Esc, it stops immediately and then all seems to work fine.

Any clue?

I HAVE A CONTINUOUS BEEPING SOUND WHEN I PUT MY HP G60-445DX LAPTOP ON

This sounds like a motherboard issue, sub out the ram memory one at a time. If there is no change suspect the motherboard, option main board replacement.

I have a toshiba laptop about three years old Wont start up right

The problem there may be your cmos battery or possibly a memory issues. If you just recently added memory, I suggest you find a more compatible one for your laptop.

Hp pavilion723a when starts emits high pitch beeps and wont boot

These beeps are telling you that there is something wrong with the hardware. It means something has failed and will most likely need replaising. The certain amount of beeps will tell you the exact piece of hardware, count of beeps and phone hp and they should tell you whats wrong with it and if its repairable.

Loud Continuous beeping, will not boot up.

You are infected badly. You need to take it to a reputable repair person. They will slave your hard drive to another to get rid of the infections. Once done they should be able to reinstall the operating system.

Good Luck

Hp computer will start, all the lights come on but the screen is black.. also.. it makes this loud beeping noise 4 times?? whats wrong?

The beep is more than likely a beep code (sounds stupid and obvious, but they're there for a reason).

What make/model is your machine? We can look up the code by make/model. That will diagnose your problem.

Bauknecht GSX4756 dishwasher

I have this problem frequetly - it's an easy one to fix! Just press the programme button which changes the programme setting you want (on my built-in GSX4756 it's the last button on the right) and keep it pressed in until the beeping stops. Then start it again (will probably be on the rinse programme if it's like mine).
