Question about Olympus SP-500 UZ Digital Camera
Didn't realize I had selected "all" when I hit delete to remove one file. All my photos were delreted from the camera. I had not transferred them to the PC. Does the camera have a temp file so I can restore from that?
Media recovery... zar recovery... these are software programs that will recover pictures on picture cards as long as the card has not been formatted...download them over the internet

Restore software can successfully rebuild the index of the card, that is all that is wiped out when you delete pictures. AS long as you have not written new pictures on the card, you should be able to restore the entire contents. This goes for hard drives too. To fully wipe a media, you need to rewrite the entire media with 0's and 1's a few times over. Your safe.

No, it doesn`t have temp, but you can try to restore it using Card reader and recovery software (R-Studio for example - http://www.data-recovery-software.net/)
