Question about Samsung CLP-600N Laser Printer

Samsung 600N transfer belt

Hiya,
Here's a good one - I received the "replace transfer belt" message and I did youst that (bought a new one). Then I installed and I still get the same message.
Any comments?

    Sorry, not the problem. I took it to an authorized shop. They inserted
    their original Samsung cartridges and it worked. Apparently, there is
    nothing wrong with the [new] transfer belt. The unit just doesn't like
    the chips on my toner refill kit. I'll try removing the new chips and
    replacing with the original and post a note here.

    It seems Samsung trys very hard to rape you on every little part that
    wears out in a few months and if you resist, they lock you up and try
    again. Oooo, I'm still sore; better wait 'til this weekend to give it a
    try.

I fought the "replace transfer belt" message for quite awhile. Then I finally realized I was trying to close the toner cartridge door BEFORE I closed the lid above it. (The printer was close to a wall so I couldn't see the "open and close in this sequence" signs on the cartridge door.) Once I closed them in the proper order, I stopped seeing that message. Janet

We are receiving a replace transfer belt notice on our Samsung CLP610ND. Is there a way to reset without replacing?


no it cannot be reset without replacing. the transfer belt has done its life thats why the message is appearing on the screen to replace it. the printer can still be used. the transfer belt is a bit expensive a s well.

How involved is it to replace the actual belt on the transfer belt for clx-6200 fx printers? Without having to purchase an entirely new transfer belt?


I just bought a CLX-6200FX and it has holes in the transfer belt, so I think it's the reason I get poor color printouts. I just bought a belt (vs. an entire belt assembly) and am going to attempt to change it out. Any hints as to how to start would be appreciated.

Samsung CLP-600N displays message - engine fuser low heat error. Machine is out of warranty.


Disassemble fuser and inspect thermistor, thermostat and heat lamp. Replace broken part.

I've had the same problem with color problems, especially with cyan (blue). I have found that many of the toner cartridges I receive are defective. When I receive a new one, I try it out for a few pages. If the color isn't perfect I return the cartridge and get a replacement. After 1-2 tries, I get one that puts down good color. (A really bad solution I know, but it does get the job done.)

Invalid transfer belt error on Samaung CLP 600N


This error can arise when the door on the right-hand side of the printer, the part you open in order to replace the toner cartridges, is not correctly closed. Close the top right-hand section first and then close the door on the right-hand side firmly (slamming it if necessary) and then check that all edges look correctly aligned. That should solve the problem. Incorrect shutting of these parts has always been the cause of this error on our Samsung CLP-600N laser printers and we have several of them.

Samsung CLP600 - wants me to install a transfer belt


"install transfer belt" message" appeared right after black toner was relpaced with a non samsung toner(new chip too)--installation of new transfer belt did not solve problem--- i went back and reinstalled the original samsung chip into the toner cartridge---the "install transfer belt" message is gone and the printer works but has a "low toner" message----i guess i learned my lesson the hard way---anyone in the market for a new transfer belt???........wj
