English in the driver section downloads/saves a zipped file.. execute one of setup.exe... will this fix the keyboard from dying every other time I go to use the keyboard? I am about ready to dump this keyboard in the trash.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I need a driver micosoft Keyboard 1.1 and mouse 2000 for window 7

Hi there,
Mouse and Keyboards have a generic driver that Windows uses to operate. Can you tell me the manufacturer and the model number which normally could be found on the box of the keyboard and mouse.
Are these wired or wireless keyboard and mouse? are they connected via USB or PS2 port?

When i plug my dynex wired mouse into the usb it says unknown device. it worked before it just suddenly stopped.

It may be your drivers are uninstalled. So you can install them again to make your mouse run.

I just got this wireless mouse without driver software. where can I go to get the drivers for free. it did not come with a cd

In most cases you do not need to install the driver as the OS supports , so unless your OS is the older version you will need to check if the model is compatible.
So please check on the official site of Dynex or call your nearest Dynex dealer.

NEW KEYBOARD NO MICE

No.

Usually, a mouse connects _directly_ to either the 'PS/2' mouse-port on the computer, or connects to a USB-port on the computer.

Some keyboards have a USB-slot, to allow a USB-port mouse to be connected.

Dynex wireless mouse DX-PWLMSE won't work

The mouse should be Plug and Play. Did you install the drivers before plugging the mouse's receiver in? The PC has to have the drivers first in order to take advantage of the Plug and Play capability. If you plugged the mouse's receiver in before installing the drivers, unplug the mouse receiver, uninstall the driver, reboot your PC, reinstall the driver, then plug the receiver in and you should be fine.

Otherwise, press the Connect button on the receiver first, and then the Connect button on the mouse, and that should establish the connection. You don't need to disable your touch pad in order to use the mouse.

I'm currently having to manually switch between my PC and Mac. When I unplug the Dynex Model DX-WKBD keyboard and mouse (both wired) and service cable from the Mac and plus them into the PC, the Number,...

Rather the switching them, you need a KVM (Keyboard/Video/Mouse).
This will allow you to connect the 2 computers to 1 keyboard an mouse. These can be found at any office supply chain that has computer hardware (Like Staples or Office Depot) or online.

To connect it, power off both computers, connect the KVM to each, and then plug your Monitor, keyboard and mouse into the KVM. Power on the systems (one at a time).

IOGear 2-port KVM Switch (Keyboard Issue)

I have had the same problem off and on since I bought my Iogear 2-port kvm switch over a year ago. I have a DYNEX wired, multimedia, usb keyboard and a Dynex wired usb mouse. The operating system on my desktop is Windows XP, SP3 and on my laptop it's Windows XP professional.

Yesterday, my keyboard "died" on me about 8 times and each time it requires unplugging the keyboard usb cable from the switch and my laptop, rebooting, then plugging the usbs back in. Really, really frustrating and annoying. I'm not a techno guru, but I got to thinking that maybe the keyboard driver might be the culprit. I decided to go to Control Panel, clicked on Keyboard, then Hardware/Properties/Driver/Update Driver. I clicked on "update driver" and let it find one automatically. It took what seemed like a long time for it to find the driver but it found one. The device name changed to KeyMaestro P2360, the driver updated, and I noticed 2 additional files were added to the System 32 directory.

It's only been a day but so far so good. My keyboard hasn't failed yet since the keyboard driver update. I don't know if this is the solution for you or not, but it seems to be the one for me. I'll know for sure if I can through a few days without it failing again.
