Question about Gateway M285-E Notebook
My gateway m285-e isn't letting me change the orientation. it tells me to change the settings on the display menu in the control panel, but nothing works...
By orientation i take it your screen is either upside down or sideways on?
If that's the case then hold down Ctrl and Alt and use the cursor/arrow keys to rotate the screen back to normal. This will no doubt be the cursor up key.

Go to the control panel.
Open add or remove programs.
Uninstall ALL ATI software / graphic drivers.
Open Device Manager.
Uninstall ATI Mobility Radeon X1400.
When the systems boots up allow the drivers to install automaticlly from windows update.
Now your tablet button for orientation will work.
