I have burnt on food (sugar) in my Miele pyrolytic oven. How do I get it off? Will using the pyrolytic process just make this worse?

Ammonia works really good to remove burnt on food. For inside the oven put a small bowl of ammonia on the rack, close the oven door & let sit overnight. The fumes will work overnight.

Neff FD7903 Oven Drop down front door no longer fully closes & is getting worse - are the hinges adjustable?

I'm afraid not.

"Drooping" doors are very common on Neff ovens - I've had to replace a couple of sets - and seem very sensitive to things being placed on the door whilst in the open position, e.g. roasting tins whilst basting a bird/joint.

Replacement hinges are available - just Google your model number and the sponsored results will include several companies who can supply them - not cheap, but much less than a replacement oven.

Bosch Oven Door Problem - doesn't close at top

On our oven (Bosch Evolution 700 Series HGS7152UC), the problem was getting worse and worse. I found it is was worsening simply because the hinges had started to come loose. I removed the door as suggested above, and although there are no adjustment screws on this model I tightened the now-loose hinge mounting screws. For each hinge there are three screws altogether: two (phillips heads) on the bottom of the door and one (torx head) on the inside wall of the door. After tightening those screws it is a lot better, only leaks as much heat as it did when it was new which is tolerable. Still a bad design.

Oven door won't close tightly

Sounds like whoever installed your oven hasn't adjusted your door properly and as a result over time probley got worse? any way there should be 3 screws on each hinge the top and bottom screws hold the door in place the screws under the top ones are used for making adjustment with a Philips head screw driver open the door and try screwing in clockwise 2 or 3 full turns and with your free hand feel if the door is moving upward if so repeat the same on the other side and then close the door and see if its made a difference if so and its still loose try again if its made it worse the turn the screws in the opposite direction Let me know if this works

Bosch HBL745A Oven door

My husband just figured this out.

- Follow Door removal instruction from the manual.
- There is a screw at the end of the hinge that can be adjusted.
- Adjust the screw to desired height.
- Secure lock nut.

Do you mean the service engineer replaced the hinges?
If so call him again and tell him he didn't fix it. The service engineer should come again and fix it for free if there's any justice in this world.
