Question about Casio G''zOne Type S Cellular Phone

During conversation my phone will stop sending.

During conversation, my phone will stop sending and the call is dropped. This may be in one minute or four or not at all. The antenna leads have been cleaned but problem persists. The software is ver. m02. Could a upgrade to ver. 05 help and how do I upgrade? Also when restarting the phone, one or more of the clock alarms will become activated.

    Verizon provides no support for the type s phone (too old). I will ask them if a warrenty claim would get me another type s. No water has been near the phone. I don't understand about the network setting on the phone.I don't like having to purchase another phone as this one has had a easy life and was rock solid.

Hello,

The problem is not from the version of your phone. It definitely is a virus that is on the phone causing it to drop your calls in a very short while of usage. It might have contacted the virus through bluetooth device, application downloads, and file transfers from computers etc.

My best advice is for you to get the appropriate cable of your phone and laptop or desktop with the appropriate software and flash your phone.

After flashing the phone, it will be in good condition once again.

NB: Please check the size of your phones memory before upgrading the version to ver. 05, if not, it might become very slow to respond to the functions you want it to perform.

Hello,that is the major defect of this mobile phone,it takes up to ten seconds for it to connect a cal and also has drop calls as much as it can.even if you upgrade the software version it will still .possess the same problem,that is the factory default of the phone.

you can check the below things on the phone or you flash it with the use of internet by visiting an authorized expert.
Network setting in the phone.
Re-formatting the phone or flashing it.
Hardware repair.

In your phone, you can check the network setting on your phone if it has been tampered with you so can easily reset it.

Some times when a phone drops in water or on the flow, and after then was not serviced might cause the network reception to fluctuate .Some application downloads,if the antenna is broken or tampered with it can also cause it to do that.

i will advice you visit the store you got it from that is your service provider for warranty claim if the problem persist because they have this problem frequently on the phone complained by customers.

Phone keeps hanging up during conversations


What is the model of that phone? It could be something else that transmits on that same frequency and is causing interference/ Things like routers, flourescent lights, basically anything that can send a signal. Someone might also have a phone that is close to that ones frequency.

Poor sound and quality: If you hear buzzing sounds during conversations or either during sound alerts, bring it to the nearest repair shop for replacment of speakers. However, if you only mean that you had a hard time listening to a call because of low volume, then do the following:
1. during the conversation, press the UP button, then, you will see the volume bar to appear. Keep pressing it until you reach the desired volume. When your done, just stop pressing or tapping and it will automatically return to call menu.

I have had my samsung impression for 3 months. First issue is during texting, after sending a few text messages, it will not allow me to send anymore unless I turn the phone off and then back on. Okay,...


unfortunately there is no quick fix for this as far as i know. my first impression (that i only had for 3 1/2 months) decided to completely freeze the touchscreen, when i had absolutely no water damage and had never dropped it. i tried EVERYTHING took out the battery and the sim for an entire day, turned it on and off, and nothing worked. One thing i know, try your best not to drop this phone because my friend also had to get a new one because she dropped it several times, and they are VERY sensitive, and dropping it throws off the calibration, as does getting liquid on the screen. I went to a local at&t store and they said I would be eligible for a new phone because I had not caused the phone to stop working, but they could not give me one at the local store. i went to a DSC (device service center) for at&t, and the guy took one look at my phone, tried to play around with it, and within a couple minutes said I would be receiving a new phone that day. I received a new phone, and even got my numbers and my sim transferred for me. if your phone continues to freeze up, definitely bring it in. hope this helps :)

So do I,hehehee... well,now tray to do formatt.here is the way : First,back up your phone contact (It will be loose) ,switch off your phone, press and hold * button, 3 button, green or call button than press and hold power on button.wait for a while till show Nokia logo than twingkling.now you may release your fingers.if it work your screen will show name of Country City where you were.Do again the process if not show name of City.Good luck..

there is no sure fix if a phone has gotten wet and no guarantees it will work properly againmit is just pure luck.
