Try to get at least a 90mm refractor. However we usually recommend REFLECTORS like this one for beginners.
More aperture at lower cost than a refractor.

All astronomical telescopes show upside down images in the eyepiece. You can buy an "erecting prism diagonal" to use for terrestrial viewing. Like this one:

Everything is upside down

This is normal for an astro telescope. It is not considered important when viewing stars and so forth.
You can buy a terrestrial viewing prism to correct this

I need the instructions on how to put a Simmons 600 power / 60 mm telescope together because I have never put a telescope together.

You will not find a manual for that telescope brand. However Meade telescopes has a web site with all of their telescopes--

They all assemble and are used in a similar fashion:

Try these two web site links and look under the REFRACTOR heading for a scope that looks similar to your scope. main page

This might be similar to your scope?

Image is upside down

Telescopes present the image upside down. There is no up-down in space. You can buy a erect prism adapter for terrestrial use A prism can not be used for astronomy since it reduces contrast but fine for daytime (nature watching) use

When i look through it everything is upside down

That's entirely normal and correct for ALL astronomical telescopes.

If you want to use it to view land or sea based objects (terrestrial viewing), you need to fit an erecting tube between the telescope and the eyepiece. This corrects the image at the expense of some loss of image quality which is OK for terrestrial daytime viewing but unacceptable for night-time astronomical viewing of what are mostly very faint low contrast objects.
