I couldn't find one on the net. You could try to call Canon- here's their phone number and instructions to talk with a live person:

If they can't help you, I would call around to Computer Repair Shops, and see if they have any ideas. You could also try Ebay for an "as-is" unit for parts, although I couldn't find one today. Other than that, you're going to have to be that lucky person at the flea markets or garage sales.

Canoscan 5000f driver for windows 7

Canon knowingly disabled Windows 7 support for all of the old products in 2009. You need a pre-Vista CanoScan toolbox version 4.1.3.5, it will work fine in Windows 7. I uploaded a copy on my website rust.mine.nu.

35mm slide and negative adapter

First option would be the manufacturer, second would be EBAY for either the part, or a used unit with the part.

I am tring to scan my 35mm negatives

Select scan. When the window pops up look in the upper right hand corner of the window. You will see select source: drop down menu give you choices which includes negative film. Just select it. Then drop negatives into holder. Oh, make sure you remove the cover sheet that slides in and out of the cover.

Have you used this scanner on Leopard already? I didn't think this scanner was supported.

Do a search on "Leopard". The CanoScan 5000F is not supported in this OS.
