Question about Kenmore 24032\24036 Top Load Washer
If it won't spin you could have a broken lid switch or a broken motor coupling.lift the lid up around two inches and close it a few times,if you don't hear the switch clicking the lid switch is broke and needs to be replaced.if that seems ok i would check the motor coupling, take out the two screws that hold down the top console, flip the console up,unplug the lid switch harness in the middle or a little to the right of the middle and with a screw driver pop the two metal clips, one on the right and one on left side of top and then you can remove the frame of the washer.on the bottom remove the two clips on the pump and move the pump out of the way,now take out the two screws and pop the two clips and remove the motor,on the back of the motor you'll see the coupling, the other half is on the tranny,if any of the six arms that interlock with the rubber piece are broken that's your problem.one more thing, you say it won't rinse allwashers rinse with cold water the water valve could be humming and not letting any water come in,i just don't understand what you're asking about that.next time send the model number and let me know if any of this helps.good luck
