If your GPS is not finding any address, then the most likely cause is that the wrong country map is loaded or the map is corrupted as finding an address does not rely on getting any satellite signals (your GPS should at least show your home location or the last known position on the 'correct' map): I suggest that you look at your specific GPS user manual to find how to check that you have the correct map loaded: if it is the case, then find the instruction on how to 'reset' your GPS as its software may be corrupted.
Hope it helps.

I recently changed a dead battery on my sequoia 2008 and now the entire Navigation and audio system is not working. There is power but it keeps saying that a navigation dvd is not in

I work on a lot of different vehicles. When changing batteries, I use an external power source to keep radios and navigation intact, to avoid these problems. Owners manuals tell you this. And I know, about 1 in 20 cars I work on have manuals in them. You'll have to take it to a dealer to fix your problem.

I have an '09 toyota camry and the navigation system won't work, tried to hard start the system by disconnecting the battery but it still won't work. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I think you will need to access the Nav System with a professional
scanner or scan tool & then use manufacture trouble charts, to even know what the system is supposed to do, & how to diagnose it

Hopefully a repair shop, if they want the job, otherwise blow out
your wallet at a dealer

Factory security system intermittently going off. Wondering if it is a bad sensor or switch. Does the door LED flash a code? 8 long flashes followed with normal short flashes.

CAR ALARM ISSUES

It can be any of the car doors not got properly locked or the door is locked but the switch is not sensing the door locked. Open and close each door again properly.

Or else its problem with any of switch wiring getting in contact with alarm wiring causing it to happen.

And last thing alarm connections need to be inspected. It's getting short somewhere in between.

There are few help links with solutions, to troubleshoot these types of problems. I suggest going through these links.

I have an '03 Lincoln Navigator with multiple electrical problems. Power locks don't work, Heating in the rear doesn't work but A/C does, CD player won't play or eject discs, suspensio

When you say something was put in ---you mean
by a dealer-- that can not resolve any Lincoln Problems

I know that happens all too often. They seen to be the
worst dealers of most makes, just another ford

Need to diagnose from any codes you have, same as
always & have reference trouble charts

Need the factory manuals-- as I have for my Hi-Tech Lincoln LS

I have issues beyond any dealer or service manual & I solve them
& I'm no dealer tech

Have to start over & keep paying until you get a person who
can properly diagnose & find the route cause
