Question about Refrigerators
We have a 1996 mod.6162,ser.# 202380brbkb6, the lp sys would not start auto. but would if you manually lite it, now you can manually light it ,and a few seconds it will click off, also the electric part stopped one week end the next time out it worked , the next it did`nt, help, thanks Ron
There might be a couple issues going on here.
First off, your flame sense is not working like it should. This is the electrode that partially sits in the burner flame. There is a wire that goes back to the ignitor module. Check it for continuity (electrode to connector), it should be near zero ohms. Also, check the screws on the burner housing assembly. These need to be tight and rust free because they secure the ground path for the ignitor. Make sure that your ground wires are clean and tight.
Given the history of the electric side, your power supply board may be on its way out as well. This can affect both modes (electric and gas, as well as 12volt cooling - but you are not equipped for that).
You can find a service manual at bryantrv.com. Look under the service manuals section, find the link for norcold 600
