When i press cue on my cdj 1000 mk3 it plays and i repeatedly press cue and it jus starts from the cue point and does not cue and then when i press pause it doesnt do anything so the song just keeps...

Your CDJ needs new Tactile switches. These sit under the big plastic knobs you press, and are actually what do the work when you press the button. Proably the most common failure on the CDJ range. Simple repair if you are competant at soldering. If not, take it to get serviced, they'll do it while you wait (if they're good!)

Tracks start stopping.Cue button playing up.Code E8302 showing

Hi,

It good be a number of things that can cause this, it could be the quality of your cdr's that your using, it could be your disc copier going faulty, it could be your recording software your using, it could be your disc's are slightly damaged, it could be the speed your your copying your cdr's or it could be your laser pick-up going faulty. If you havent had your player repaired you can send it to us to have a look at it for you.

Regards.
Paul.

Cdj 1000-mk-2

Could be either the Track skip switch has collapsed and is thus over sensative or the button bank is broken and the track skip switch is being pressed when the cue button is used.
Could also have liquid spillage on the circuit board which cause all sorts of random problems

I have a stanton-vestax cd-11 dual cd player, and was wondering how to get a cd to play on it. I put one in, turned the player on, pushed all the buttons and nothing happened. how does it work?

I have had one of these for many years: Switch it on, you must make sure the two transit screws at the back of each deck are fully unscrewed and loose, let the machine displays settle down, then insert a CD, then press the 'reset' button. There is a built-in delay of about 11 seconds before the deck begins to read. After this the machine should then display the first track number, and pressing the big red button will start play.

Pressing the 'reset' button again stops playback and the CD spins down, but if you leave the CD in there it will eventually re-index and cue up again. This feature is to enable fast, one-button CD changing and it works very well in practice, as the 11 second delay is enough time to take one CD out and get another in there before it tries to read it again.

To stop playback just press the 'reset' button (this is the most used button!) and take out the CD. After the delay, the machine will try to read a CD as normal, but display 'no CD' on the display. There is no stop button, as this unit was designed for continuous use in a club or disco.

Hope this helps. :)

ON MY PIONEER CDJ-1000MK2 MY CUE BUTTON IS VERY SENSITIVE... I DON'T KNOW HOW TO FIX THIS, I KNOW EBAY SELLS THE PART HOWEVER IM NOT SURE HOW TO REPAIR IT MYSELF AND OPEN UP THE CDJ.

Replace the cue tac switch or worst scenario replace the cue play board.... takes 5 mins to open solder and fit back together or 2 minutes to replace board

Hope this answers your query

i have exactly the same problem, its annoying

1 thing which works is holding the button down then spinning the deck round, let go, turn off the scratch button, press play and turn on the scratch button again

Cdj-500ll cue button repair

the faulty button will not stop it from playing well... replacing them is not hard so long as you have some experience with a soldering iron.
Clean the laser lens with a cotton bud wet with windex... then use a dry one to be sure no residue is left. If it still mistracks... new optics required!. You willl need a pioneer service agent to do this for you. A little complex for the first timer :)
