How to Uninstall Unwanted Programs?

As we know that it?s more difficult to uninstall programs than installing them. It?s observed that programs always leave their update folder or some DLL files. Some programs even leave their registry values in system registry. That?s why these programs still pop up after being uninstalled and strange DLL errors appear. Control panel is the most common method to uninstall a program. But it can?t completely remove all components of a program.

Users sometimes want to uninstall and reinstall a program, but there will be a pop up saying that program has been installed and our users can?t find it. Some users want to change their anti-virus or anti-spyware and uninstall them thru control panel. When they install another anti-virus or anti-spyware, there is another pop up saying their previous anti-virus or anti-spyware is still there, please uninstall it first.

In the above cases, users can?t find the uninstalled programs nor install the new ones. When users uninstall programs with Perfect Uninstaller, it will uninstall the program and scan the registry for the left over entries as well as drivers for the left over files. These three steps ensures a complete...

Hello,

This means your MAC is having a kernal panic, which could be caused by a failed update, a driver or program that is incompatible. You may need to start your MAC with your system cd/dvd and run the disk checker to repair hard drive errors and file permission errors.

I'm not sure what OSX version you are running but you could also try the steps outlined in this apple knowledge base:http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.5/en/8965.html

If this does nothing, you will need to take it into a apple store for servicing, or reinstall the OS (you may loose your programs and data depending on how your reinstall)

If this is what I think it is, it is a WebObjects project file. This can only be opened on Mac OSX. For more info, head over to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WebObjects

your mac should automatically unzip the zip file with no issues.
after you download it double click on the zip file and your mac will unzip it
you should see a folder name dir628_FW_125NA
assuming you downloaded dir628_FW_125NA.zip
go to your dlink router in safari or firefox or chrome browsers and open 192.168.1.1
login and go to firmware link on the left hand side of the browser
browse to the location of the new firmware and upload to begin the upgrade process.

OS9 icons change on OS10

I had the same thing happen when I switched from os9 to osx. I had to install the programs, Quark, Illustrator, etc. then the icons appearance was normal. You may also have to actually open the program, then open the files themselves before the icons show as normal.

Hope this helps.

Win web security

Go here http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php and download the Malware Byttes Anti-Malware Trial Application. That removes all of those Fake Virus Alerts. Just make sure you delete all system restore points aswell when the malware is removed, as otherwise it will just creep back in on the system.
