Question about Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 Notebook
My laptop turn off itself or crash while loading windows vista logo. I try using the recovery disc but it still crash or turn off. But if i run in safemode using f8 it will not crash or turn off. I already disassemble my laptop and clean everything inside but still it turn off. I just dont know how to trace the problem. Or what hardware is the defect.
This could be either a software or a hardware problem. the reason it works in safemode is because safemode does not initiate some on the drivers by recovery with recovery cd does. I recommend that you formatt your harddrive completely then install a fresh copy of your vista operating system. then install the correct device drivers (download from the manufactures website if you have doubts) to your system 1 by 1, restarting the system after each driver installation. this should work and if the problem persists at least you will be able to identfy which device is giving you a problem as it will restart itself again after you install the driver for that device.
