Question about HP Color LaserJet 2600n Printer
This is known
as laser scanner contamination and will require servicing. You can try
running calibrations under the system setup menu/print
quality/calibrate color/calibrate now. run a couple of these. You can
also try an nv ram
1. Turn the printer off
2. Hold down the Select and the cancel button
3. Reboot the printer while holding the buttons and hold until permanent storage is displayed. Let go of the buttons and wait for the ready message on the display.
Depending on the model you may have to hold down the right arrow and the cancel.
This can be fixed by an authorized tech, they need to clean the mirrors which essentially tell the toner to be used. Hp's tech support number is 1800-334-5144.
