I installed a Mr. Slim system and 2 of the 3 units work fine. The third unit will turn on, but doesn't activate the condensor. In a few minutes the left light begins flashing. I put a multimeter to the outdoor unit and tested the voltage to the indoor units and each combo of wires showed about 240V until I tested the S1 and S3 of the suspect unit and it only showed 120V. Is there a simple solution to this or is possible problem with the circuit board. Thanks!

Fan works, air conditioning does not. Try resetting the power (in the proper sequence - outdoor unit followed by indoor unit). Air conditioning came on briefly (less than a minute) than stopped, leaving...

Without seeing the unit,

1 - the condenser fan (which is in the outdoor unit) could be blown. This would cause the unit to go off on high head pressure.

2 - it could be low on refrigerant, which makes it do nothing but blow room temperature air around. The unit would go off on low pressure

3 - the filter is dirty, blocking the cooling

4 - the compressor could be shorted, or a corroded wire somewhere that feeds the contactor

Mr. Slim Ductless Splits are the best on the market and should only be repaired by a trained technician.

Hope this helps.

Water leaking at front of condensor ( inside)unit.

sounds like there might be a blockage in the condensate pan that is not letting all the water drain through the condensate line. if you can access this area try to clean all the debris out

Blinking light

the light blinking is an error code. you can count the number of blinks from a brief pause. it would continue to blink the same number of blinks after a brief pause. count this blinks and you can help the incompetent person that installed your unit to diagnosed the unit from the error codes that you will give him.

if you unplug the unit, it will reset and run again. after a few minutes, the sensor would sense the trouble and turn off the unit and display this code again as a blinking light.

tnx for using fixya.
