Those are probably the hose which connects basket and pump and the drain hose. They can be replaced quite easily and it is not expensive repair.

How do i remove the agitator from a GE G154 washer

I stood in the big basket and pulled up on the agitator and it came out. My tights were wound around the post underneath...would've never come out if I wouldn't have removed the agitator. 3rd pair of tights ruined! Also had a camisole do the same. I wouldn't advise buying this washer....I now have to hand wash tights, bras, and camisoles. The agitator went back fairly easy...altho on the second try, I think I had it positioned just right...?...phew!

Kenmore 80 series top loader washing machine 110 volt was plugged bu mistake into 220 volt outlet. Machine will no longer fill water or agitate but when put into spinning it will spin

First off I can tell you the water valve coils are probably cooked / burned out. With POWER OFF / unit unplugged you can remove one wire from each of the coils and check for resistance across the coils. No resistance = open coil = no fill. NO FILL = no agitate because the water level pressure switch is trying to sense the water level that never rises. If there is no water then there will be no agitation.

If you really want to see if it will agitate in it's current condition you can fill the unit with a garden hose on a low level water setting and fill it a little over half way to see if it will agitate. (You will have to remove the hose and close the lid)

If that works then the water vavle would be the culprit causing your condition. The wire wound in the coil windings of the water valve is smaller in thickness than a human hair and would easily fail if 220VAC was put across a 110V winding.

Adgitator removal

Just follow these steps:

1. Remove the center dispenser from the top of the agitator. It should just pop off.
2. Locate the white plastic cap underneath and pull straight up to remove.
3. Locate the agitator bolt underneath and remove using a socket and ratchet (can't remember the size). Hold the agitator still with one hand in order to loosen the bolt.
4. With the bolt removed, grasp the agitator by the bottom flanges and pull straight up. It should lift off the center post.

NOTE: Sometimes these agitators will stick due to years of detergent accumulation. You may have to wobble it back and forth to get it loose.

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

Remove the agitator

The agitator is actually pressed on without mechanical fasteners . Grab the bottom of the agitator firmly on each side. Pull up with a quick, hard **** (careful not to hit your face). If this does not work, wrap a belt under the agitator. Grab the belt firmly and pull up with a quick, hard ****.

yes, remove the softener dispenser at the top of the agitator and there is a bolt there that is holding the agitator assembly. if you remove that bolt, the whole piece can be pull out and you can remove the clothe that was stuck in there.

with the exeption of something you mistakenly left in your clothing and wound up in the washer, not likely stains are from there , most of the time they do come from the dryer, try grabbin an old white rag nad runnig it around hte fron of hte dryer drum and then tyr the rear where the drum meets the back bulkhead. usually leavs brownish streks smome what curved 2-3 inches log. its from hte felt hte supposed to seal the drum. its either wearing thin, or a glide has worn away causing the issue
