Toner light and message won't go out

Can not get the ''add toner'' light to go out. Replaced toner bottle two times. Printer will not print with the message and light showing. Tried shutting it down, unplugging it. Nothing seems to work. Savin model number 9922 DP

Try to check the toner bottle holder.there are some patrs inside likethe bottle chuck,seals ,foam

The bottle full message indicates that the waste toner collection bottle is full. The full bottle needs to be removed and the toner disposed of properly. Then a replacement collection bottle needs to be installed and the waste toner counter reset. It is possible to reuse the bottles but most people will spill the toner when they try to empty a collection bottle. You do not want loose toner in your environment.

Turn off the printer (at the power switch) and wait for the lights to stop blinking before attempting the replacement. See page 62 of the network guide for the replacement procedure. See https://www.ricoh-usa.com/downloads/downloads.aspx to search for your printer and get the manuals.

Hi! i am using ricoh afficio MP171 SPF. i replaced the toner but it still showing the message "add toner". what can i do please?


You could check if the contacts on the toner cartridge and in he printer are clean and shiny. Perhaps just a bit of glue or a scrap of plastic is on a contact, making it impossible for the printer to read the status.

The light next to the lightbulb on the printer Toner low/replace PC kit. The printer is ready to receive and process data. In addition, the toner in the toner cartridge is getting low.


Solution:

? Press continue button to clear message and continue processing job.

? Remove the toner cartridge. Gently shake the toner cartridge from side to side and front to back several times to redistribute the toner, and reinsert it. Repeat this procedure multiple times. If the print remains faded, replace the toner cartridge.

Hi, the chip on those toner bottles stores information about how much toner is left, so once that chip registers an empty toner bottle, it won't work even if you attach it to a new toner bottle. You'll need the chip from a new toner bottle, or one that hasn't registered no toner.

Printer wants toner cartridge replaced, though not empty


unfortunately the drum within the cartridge has reached end of life so changing to a new drum cartridge would resolve this issue.

Replaced Konica 7022 toner and add toner light stays on


Remove the toner bottle carefully, pwr off and unplug the machine , then plug it in and turn it on do not put toner bottle into machine until asked for.

Plunger from the top of the previous bottle is probably still stuck in the machine. Remove the toner bottle and check/remove .

Add Toner stuck on & Replace Photo Conductor Unit (PCU)


I suspect that it is the PCU causing the problem, and the message should clear once the PCU is installed and it (automatically) runs it's calibration cycle. Likely the toner auger gear has seized on the PCU, and broken. If the light does not go off after installing the PCU, then you may need a technician, as the toner motor may not be working, or there is a blockage within the toner hopper itself.....but again it is likely the PCU, especially if the toner bottle was empty when it needed replacement. Was it empty?? Did the machine work for a few days, or at least for a while? If so, it seems like too much of a coincidence that this problem would come up at this time.

Replace/int tank toner error message


If the toner bottle has been cleaned, it might still be dirty on the top. If the bottle is new, the you need to clean up the light sensors that pass through the toner bottle.
