Question about Computers & Internet
For these problems, usually we recommend system restore ( if that works ) or repair of the windows. For repair, you need to have the original windows CD that you might have got when you purchased the machine.
Even though you have uninstalled Firefox, still the set up file would be there in your system. The set up file would be ( Firefox setup 3.x.x exe ). This would never gets removed until you manually remove it from the system. But, even if you again install Firefox, that would not help the situation. I could only advise you to try system restore unless repair the windows.
Any directions you want, revert and i would be glad to answer.
Let me know,if needed further assistance.
Hope i helped you.
Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
