Question about Jensen Overhead Mobile Video System (JN102) Car Video Player
OK, I went to Jensen.com and researched your problem to the best of my abilities at my site:
Apparently, your JN102 dvd player for the car is not listed and there is no data from other users with problems, so they recommend that you create an incident report which can be escalated to their tech support to solve your problem.
In my experience, if the dvd or cd player cannot eject discs, there is an internal circuit problem or mechanical problem with the gears causing this problem.
The unit should be sent to an authorized service center to rectify the problem.
I would not attempt to take the unit apart, if it is within the warranty period, or if you intend to have it serviced by Jensen.com.
If it is, however, out of warranty and you do not want to have it serviced by Jensen, then I would consider taking the unit out and removing the case, and seeing if you can manually rotate the gears in question to remove the disc.
But, it's likely there is something wrong with the dvd player for the car, that prevents it from functioning correctly.
That is all that I have found on the Internet regarding your unit.
Thanks for submitting your question to Fixya.com.
