Why is my samsung pc freezing when I turn it on?

follow this steps and fix it. God bless you
A frozen computer might be a one-time occurrence, or it could be the sign of a more serious problem. If the computer continues to freeze up, there are several items that should be checked out. The first step to take is looking at any recently installed software. Programs such as freeware or shareware often contain malware that can damage the system. Even reputable software can contain a damaged file. Uninstall recently added programs and determine if that was the cause of the computer freezing up. To uninstall a program, go to the Control Panel from the Start Menu. Select "Add/Remove Programs" in Windows XP or earlier, or "Programs and Features" in Windows Vista. In the list of installed programs, select the one to be removed and click "Uninstall." Follow any prompts and restart the computer when the process is complete. Next, update and run both the antivirus program and spyware removal program installed on the computer, or use the link provided in resources. Check the Windows website and download any updates.
Finally, you will want to check the available space on the computer's hard drive and use the built-in error checking and cleaning tools. Go to "My Computer," right click "Local Disk (C:)" and click "Properties." On the "General" tab, make sure there is sufficient free space. The "Disk Cleanup" tool will free more space by deleting unnecessary files. Click the "Disk Cleanup" button to run the tool. On the "Tools" tab there are more tools that can solve the problems causing a computer to freeze up. The Error Checking Tool finds and corrects hard disk errors and the Defragmentation tool will reorganize system files, helping the computer run better.

Hi, I need help, my pc freezes and I cant move the mouse or do anything else, I have to restart it. Please Help me.

Start/Run... Run msconfig. On General tab, select Diagnostic Startup. Reboot. Use the computer in this state for as long as the freeze usually appears.
If no freeze, return to msconfig General tab. Selective startup, uncheck Startup.
Repeat reboot and trial usage. If no freeze, check normal startup. On startup tab uncheck everything that looks non-essential. Reboot and retest. When the computer seems "fixed" recheck one startup item at a time. Repeat your timed test until the issue reappears. When it does, the latest startup item you enabled is the cause.

Is there a large selection of freeze-dried foods?

Huge! You can find almost anything you want that has been freeze-dried, you just have to know where to look. Many companies now carry not only the basics (fruits, vegetables, protein); they have become very creative and learned to freeze-dry items like milk, full gourmet meals and even ice cream.

Computer freezes after about 5 min of use, with the rainbow twirling. Have tried apps/util/ repair and still the same prob. Have a MacBook.

Click on the apple icon at the left top corner of your screen and then click on about this mac. Then select more info. Now select the Memory and look on the screen to see if the status is "OK" for both RAM chips. Spinning wheel of death means something is wrong with the RAM chips. Take the RAM chips out and replace them with new ones or take them out and re-seat them and see if that helps. If that don't help, then select the "system preferences icon". Click on accounts under the system title., select your icon account, then click on login items, and then select all the items on the list and click on the minus button to get rid of them. Then restart your computer to see if that don't help any. All these login in items are not needed and slow down your machine a lot. Your not actually deleting the programs-your only removing them from the startup files. So don't be scared. If that don't help, then back up your files and re-install your OS. If that don't help, then your SOL and you got to see the expensive Apple tech and have them put in a new logic board for ya.

When plugging things into tower everythin freezes

Check inside the port to see if the contacts are not bent, try another network cable.

Also, start the computer in Safe Mode with Networking then plug in the cable.

To start in Safe Mode with Networking
restart computer
tap F8 just after BIOS splash screen (before windows)
select 'Safe Mode with Networking" from the advanced startup menu using the arrow keys.
Things may look weird when windows starts, because it is starting with minimal drivers.

If it seems to OK in safe mode with networking, there is probably some startup item that causes the issue. See this article at capitaltechmd.com on how to troubleshoot startup items.

Good Luck, hope this helps

TomTom device frozen

If your device freezes at the start-up screen after you turn it on or your device is looping, the TomTom application may not be installed properly.

See some examples of start-up screens here. The image may vary on previous TomTom devices or if you have replaced the image.

Before you begin, make sure you have TomTom HOME installed on your computer (www.tomtom.com/home ).

To solve this, follow the steps below.
Remove the current application

1. Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable or dock.
2. Reset your device.
3. Turn on your device by pressing the power button for 5 seconds.
  • Your device should automatically connect to the computer upon reset. If your TomTom device asks you if you want to connect to your computer, tap YES.

4. Run TomTom HOME.
5. In the Main Menu of HOME click on Remove items from my device.
remove_items_from_my_device_uk.gif 6. Click on the plus symbol homeplus.gif next to Applications. Click in the checkbox on the right to select the application.
7. You will be prompted to confirm the selection, choose Yes.
8. Click on Remove selected items.
2352_08.gif 9. Choose OK.
10. You will be asked to copy the item to your computer before removing, do not copy the item. Instead, choose Back.
The application will then be removed.

Reinstall the TomTom application:
1. Start TomTom HOME.
2a. If you previously updated your device on this computer, click Add Maps, Traffic, Voices etc. and then click Items on my computer.
You can install the application by clicking the plus symbol homeplus.jpg and then Add.

2b. If you never updated your device on this computer, click Update my device.

attention_25.gif If HOME asks you to Unplug your TomTom device, try clicking OK first. If HOME notes that a problem has occured, click Back.

3. HOME offers to download and install the latest version of the TomTom application.

4. After the application has been installed, click Done and then click Device > Disconnect Device.

Your device should now start-up again. Since you have reinstalled the application, please allow a full 2 minutes for the TomTom device to fully boot.
