Question about Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

1 Answer

Tech Support: I clicked off because I thought there was a fee just to answer my question. I got your e-mail but because of my computer problem I can't click on the link you sent me. Here is my problem restated: I have Windows XP SP3, use Outlook Express for e-mail, and my main software is QuickBooks (As a volunteer I keep books for a non-profit organization.) After updating Windows (.NET Framework, etc.) I started to get error messages (Microsoft Visual ++; Fatal Execution Engine Error; qbw Application Error; and could not properly link to web sites from Outlook Express.). I finally used System Restore to an earlier date but still have the problem in Outlook Express and the one error when I close QuickBooks----"qbw32.exe Application Error". Do you think it would help if I update to Internet Explorer 7 or 8? Thanks, Tim T

If you can not use the link go to yahoo or google and type in the link (URL) or
try updating to ie7 first then ie 8 that way if you have to go back to ie7 you will already be up to date on it..............still the best advice is to go to windows update or microsoft update and let it do the updates for you...........go to start button all programs and go to top of page click windows or microsoft update let it download the active x and scan your pc for available updates.

Unable to visit my hotmail mailbox and msn websites

This is the common problem and it can be fixed by either calling tech support msn.com 800-386-5550. follow the IVR and you will reach the tech person. if you are paying for the e-mail account you have they will walk you through the e-mail support page where you will be answering the details given there and always remember that you have the alternate e-mail address before you have called. if you do not have alternte e-mail address just create one so that the password will be sent by the tech support team in 24-48 hrs of time.
if you are not paying for the e-mail domain then the technical help will not be provided. try clicking on the option forgot my password and answer the secret question. it will verify and ask you the alternate e-mail address. follow the steps its simple to understand and the issue can be fixed.

Redirected from yahoo email

You may have a virus or worm that has infiltrated your network and it is routing you to the google page away from your Yahoo!Mail. I would recommend doing a virus scan on all the computers attached to your network including locking down your firewall on any routers, hubs, switches and on all windows platforms utilized by your computers. Once that is done, proceed with a full network check which you may need to consult a local computer repair company if you are unable to do the network scan yourself.

I have a Compaq SR1130NX computer. It had some major problems, so I was reformatting the computer, or so I thought and I put in the Quick Restore CD for my older computer I used to have which was Windows...

If you can gain access to another computer and then the web site to get to Compaq's web site I would.
A) have the model and serial # with you.
B) Go to their support page and or Tech support page.
C) They may have an instant Tech/talk message page where you can talk to a Compaq tech with instant messenger.
If not you could just send them an E-mail with your need to get the restore disks sent to you. You may have to pay a small shipping fee but they should be able to get them to you.
Some one told me that they were able to get a restore disk/software from the web site. You may need to have a large USB drive or a Flash memory card to load this recovery software on.
Worth the try!
Blessings,

I am sick and tired of you people not helping me with my problem

maybe none of these people have the answer your lookin for. have you thought about taking your problems to a professional who knows what they are doing? we all have our own problems and most of us cant afford to take our stuff to a certified repair man, so we in turn rely on these little forums. dont take your problems out on us. if some one has an answer or a solution maybe they will help you, but dont expect everyone to have an answer for your problem! if you were in that desperate of a need for assistance then maybe you could pay the "fee" that this site charges to get an answer your looking for.
good luck in getting the answers your needing, but remember we too have problems of our own and they may or may not be the same as yours. but as soon as some one has an answer you may get help. or you could call the tech support usually located in your manual of the item you purchased. have you thought about that?
