Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: britax boulevard harness installation

My husband just figured this out for me a minute ago.  If you look on the right side of the seat there is a diagram about using the latch, but it also shows the metal part that the straps hook into going through the black piece that is closest to the seat.  There is a black plastic piece that is kind of curved with a metal rod right above it & then closer to the back of the seat there is a black solid plastic piece right next to the seat back & this is what it goes through.  I know this post was a long time ago, but I ran onto it trying to get mine back together, so I thought it might help someone else. =)

I have a Britax Renaissance car seat . How do I remove the base unit.

Hi
Normally it's not reccomandable to remove the base ... It's build to last forever and keep the seat sturdy in it's place. This construction gives you the option to change the position into 5 different angles for sitting, resting and sleeping. Just when you want to install the seat or put it into it's "sleeping position" just lift the recline handle under the seat shell and pull it. This way you'll have more space to get the seat-belts through.
