Question about Toshiba Satellite M45-S331 Notebook
The screen on my laptop has been acting very strangely for the past few months. A few months ago, the right side of the screen started to get a little bit fuzzy with some neon-colored striping, but typically these stripes would go away after a short period of time. Eventually, the stripes would last longer and I would have to open and close my laptop a few times in order for them to go away. Now I have a thick black stripe up the right side of my screen that will not go away. It is about 2.5 inches wide.
While my laptop is still fully functional as long as I keep my windows in the part of the screen that I can see, the problem is somewhat inconvenient and I would like to have full use of my screen again. Is something that can be repaired or do I likely need to replace something?
I have the same laptop, and though I havent had a black out problem i do have screen burn or a discoloration in the lower corners of my screen. I was told that It was due to this model's overheating issue and that I would have to replace the screen.
