MY DUGHTER SENT ME AN HONORA LEATHER WATCH for a gift. The watch arrived in good condition -- it is running, however the time is not correct -- and I do not know how to set it. There are no instructions enclosed. The watch is 1ZA2F641PP06567422 The tag on the watch reads :- Honora SS Traq Mch H/Rd Dial I would appreciate gettting assitance in setting this watch or recieving instructions how to set this watch to EST. There does not seem to be a stem on the watch for setting it.

Hello,

since there is no stem for the watch setting, there is no way you can reset the watch.

I would advice that you take the watch to a repairer to fix it for you.

Good luck.

Watch is missing user guide, how do I set the Honora 3ATM watch

To set a basic wristwatch, simply pull the crown (the winder button at the 3:00 position on 99% of watches) out gently - it will click into adjusting position. Wind to send time and then push back in again.

Variations on this are: If you have a watch with date display, the crown will have 2 positions, the first click will be to set the date and the second click (fully out) is to set time. If you need to adjust the date, I suggest you wind the date to the day before you need and then use the second click to wind the hands to the correct date. This way you will be able to know if you have the hour at a.m or p.m position and avoid it have the date changing during the day instead of at night.

One last variation for wristwatches is a screw down crown. Some water resistant and sports models incorporate an added feature whereby the crown is threaded so it can be tightened down to avoid water entering - the most common place water gets into a watch! If you have one of these, you simply need to screw the crown anticlockwise until it pops out and then refer to the instructions above. Don't forget to push and screw the crown back in clockwise when you are done

I just got the watch as a gift on x-mas it stopped working yesretday while I was wearing it mens giovanni self winding I pushed the second hand button A and nothing I didn't drop it or get it wet or...

Having read the limited instructions for this watch, it does not seem as though there are many options available!

If you haven't already done so, try pressing A again.

If nothing happens, press B

It could be that the watch has simply stopped because it needs re-winding (it depends on how long it had been running when you got it.

To wind the watch swing it gently from side to side for a few minutes. ( some makers say swing it 200-300 times!).

If you still have no joy, then contact the makers help line; go to http://www.raymond-weil.com/EN/Swiss-Watch-Company/After-Sale-Service.html to find your nearest service center.

Honora watch does not have stem - how do you set the time?

This is a newer kind of movement. All you need to do is take the stem from the watch buckle and press & hold it into the circle at the center of the back of the watch. This will cause the hands to start moving and the movement to start. Once you get to the correct time, please remove pressure and the watch will be set! I hope this helps!

My Quartz sports watch works, loses time, had three months, .

Sounds like battery is failing. Time to replace it! :-) Sears stores usually have a watch repair counter...or find a reputable watch repair business. (Even if the watch is new...its still possible the battery could be failing because you have no way of knowing when it was originally installed! They typically last about 2-3 years depending on age and condition of watch!)

Good luck!

Sunrise/Sunset Time and Moon Phase wrong on watch!

Just in case you're still interested in a solution. Your watch uses a geographical location and the current date to estimate the sunrise and sunset times. While the date (and time) information is, most likely, set on your watch correctly, you, probably didn't specify the geographical location (latitude and longitude, as well as the GMT correction for your time zone). Having setup correctly these parameters you'll enjoy the precise sunrise and sunset time. Good luck!
