Hi,

The motherboard support Windows Vista 32 and 64 bit operating systems so it will definitely support windows 7.
You will probably find that after you've installed Windows 7 there will be no need to install drivers for it.
All you'll probably need to do is update them via Windows Update.

Regards.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My computer P5N-MX can not boot up, I would like to reinstall windows, how to reinstall windows, is there a key to press during power up to reinstall window without window OS cd rom

For a full Windows reinstall, you do need a disk. You can do a full system restore though without too much hassle though. Here's a guide on how to do that (if you're running XP, if not just Google your OS and how to restore it): http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084.
I hope this helps!

Asus P5N-MX LAN

hello,
did check on the support website of you mother board and it does not have any LAN drive for any of the operating system under the list, so most likely the LAN driver should be detected by windows automatically, so if windows does not recognize the device, maybe the windows is corrupted and you need to do reinstalling, or hope not but may be the hardware it self is having a problem, so you need to get another LAN device like PCI cards.. ASUS support website "http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx"
Cheers

Hi ... asus p5n-mx i format ma computer and i hve lost main motherboard cd so can u send that the all driver or how to download

Ok, you need to know what operating system you are tunning, I assume some flavour of windows. Go to this page:

http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?model=&SLanguage=en-us

1. In line "Select Product": - motherboard
2. in line "Select series": - socket 775
3. In line "Select model": - P5N-MX
4. Click on "Search"
5. In new open screen selelct your operating system
6. Select and download following files:
a. chipset driver
b. sound driver
c. utilities
7. Unfold these files to created folder (I create usually folder called "drivers" in root directory, you can create it on desktop), then run them following instructions.

As I do not know, you did not mention, what is your video driver, you need then find if you have build in video driver or you are using third party video driver. you need then to go to your video card manufacturer site and download respective driver from manufacturer site.

Hope this will help you sufficiently to re-install all drivers :-)

You have to reinstall the Operating System wether it is Vista or Windows 7 from the Operating System reinstallation DVD that you got with your computer, or if you have purchased the disc yourself seperately.
