well to turn down your gain levels you will see on the side with your outputs, a couple of knobs with a plus and a minus sign. turn it towards the minus. as far as the bridging if it is a two channel amp you will have two sets of plus and minus for your speaker wire. make sure each wire has it's own plus and minus

It's very likely that the main power amp section has a faulty part on it that is presumably causing an overload. You should check the devices on the main heat sink of the amp section.

Clips out

It's protect mode. The amp is drawing too much current. Drawing too much current causes your amp to heat up. So heat could be the issue as well. Does it do it instantly? If so. Could be that it isn't being supplied with enough voltage to run. Again power? There are a few fixes you can do. But again we need to know more of the symptoms. Try other things. Like Rev your car a little and then turn it up? Does it reset instantly after you turn it of and back on? More info.

SWR WorkingPro 400 watt head - no sound, Preamp Clip red LED is continually lit, Limiter green LED continually lit - fuse is perfect. It worked for a few minutes, then just stopped.

Since the PA clip is not lit, the problem seems to be up front...

First thing is to look for a bad cable as a broken ground could be putting hum at a clipping level. First thing, test this by unplugging all inputs. If the clipping light goes out, then you have bad cables or a ground loop.

Try sending a line level signal into "Effects return" to test if the power amps are OK.

If the clip light is still on, turn all gain controls down to minimum. If light is still on then take unit for servicing.

What does the red and green light mean ???

red and green light? there is most likely a protection and a power light. The red I assume would either be a protection light or a clipping light signal. Does the amp kick off then these lights kick on red then to green?

Red protection light stays on all time....

try disconnecting one at a time each speaker till the red turns to green. One of your speakers may be bad. Amp is just telling you that its clipping and overheating due to the change in ohms of a shorted or bad speaker. Its also possible the amp is on its last leg due to heat. Heat breaks down electronics part and eventually get worse.

How to turn off the clip light is on red it does not turn off?

You can't, the clip light is just that...the signal is being clipped/distorted and the clip light comes on to protect the amp/speakers from blowing. You need to check your signal and then cables and wiring to see where the problem lies, chances are your volume is too high and your over working your amp....(turning the volume too high when the amp doesn't put out enough power for your speakers and this distorts the signal causing it to clip)...Try turnig the amp down, should not be any higher then 1/2-3/4 of the way never max. And if that doesn't work check your signal from the radio as well. If it works fine with the volume down and doesn't clip then your amp is too small for your needs and your need to invest in a larger amp for more power...Look for RMS watt ratings at 12-14 volts not max watts at like 16-18volts (those are fictious #'s and those amps should be avoided)

Dear support I have 4 red flashing lights on the system and cant do anything. I cant even get to the main screen. Someone told me it was called the ring of death. Please help me. ...

If you have 4 flashing red lights that means that the AV cable is not connected correctly. The ring of death is only 3 red lights. If you do indeed have 3 lights than i suggest trying this video clip. i have heard that this does work.
