Question about Computers & Internet

My hp 2009m monitor has suddenly got a grid-like pattern on it. I've tried to reset to factory default and it hasn't worked. The monitor is only a few months old. Any suggestions?

The best way to check the monitor is to try it in BIOS.

Turn on the computer, Press F10 while computer is booting and check if it gives you the same issue is System BIOS also

If it is the same in BIOS then you do not have to check anything on your computer besides replacing the Monitor

Wireless Connection possible? If so how?

To me, it appears that the HP 2009m is only a monitor, see:
HP Pavilion 2009m Monitor Product Specifications and notice it has no wireless capability. Sometimes I have seen people use the model number off the monitor for the computer's model number. Take a look at the computer itself and look for a model number. I'm assuming you have a desktop, and not all desktops have built-in wireless. If it does, you should have a Wireless Network icon in the lower right of your display in the Notification Area by the Clock. But it would help to know your computer's actual model number as there are several scenarios to remedy your issue and I would rather focus on just one.

I would buy a new monitor. Unless you have some prior experience with replacing screens, the labor outweighs the price of a new monitor.

I have an HP 2009m monitor. When I try to have

The problem is that your picture is not of high enough resolution. You need to get a higher resolution picture. There is nothing wrong with the monitor. The picture is distorted because the picture does not contain enough photographic data to scale to the size you are stretching it to. Higher resolution = larger picture without distortion.
