Question about Kenmore 19110 Computerized Sewing Machine

1 Answer

Keeps giving me the Fc warning signal no matter what I do

I turned my sewing machine on and it gave me this error message of Fc so I looked in my manual & it says "The foot control has been disconnected while sewing. Turn OFF the power & disconnect the foot control."

I did this and it is still giving me the same error messages.

Can anyone help, please.

Janome Problems

when you turn the machine off and on again, that clears the computer and helps it start correctly..
but if there is a problem, when you continue sewing it will show up
then check for the normal things like
rethreading the machine top and bobbin
new needle
make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into the bobbin case
clean under the needle plate and in the bobbin area for lint

My footup and footdown button is stuck and I keep getting an E1 error on the screen. Do I need to take it in for repair or is there something I can do to fix it? Machine will not sew because of the error...

Turn the machine off first and unplug.

If you've got a manual, look up the page for trouble shooting, this error message may be listed iwth a solution. I'd also suggest that you remove and clean out the bobbin holder. This is the little black piece you put the bobbin into. It has possibly dislodged if you've had a jam up. You will need to unscrew the two screws holding the needle plate down, take out the needle and pressure foot to give yourself some room too. Put the bobbin holder back into position lining up the red markings on the holder and the stopper, your manual should show images of this.

Once its all back together, turn on and hopefully it will reset to normal mode.
If you've done all this and the error message won't stop showing, then yes, you'll need to take it in for a service.

I have a Janome DC 2010. The machine has started to continue to sew even when my foot is off the foot control. I turn the machine off and then back on and it goes to error message fc....then goes to...

my book show the FC stands for Foot Control
have you tryed repluging the foot control into the machine to see if that stops the problem
if you have & it didn't stop the problem
then I agree you need a new foot control

My new futura keeps beeping during sewing..

Hi there,

Look for the buttonhole lever, just behind the needle threader lever. Pull it down and push it up again. The machine gives a warning message if you want to sew and the button hole lever is down.

Good luck!

Random error messages

It is a signal that one of the computer boards may be going bad. It would be best to take your machine to an authorized Pfaff technician to diagnose. While your neighborhood sewing machine repair person may be good, they may not be trained specifically to deal with Pfaff computer issues.

At this point, you can continue sewing (over-riding the message) but eventually it will likely worsen.

You can locate your nearest dealer through Pfaff's Dealer Locator. If you do not have or prefer to not use your local dealer, please respond to this with a request for a referral and we'll do our best to find a good tech near you.

Happy stitching,
