You have 2 possible places to fix, the switch is the first place, you could try taking the handle off and blowing it out with an air line, If not it will need replacing, I gave up on mine, If I whack it with a piece of wood, it will work.
And the next spot is the brushes, the electric brakes eats the brushes up by reversing the motor for a second, so check them too. Hope this helps.
