Either the belt broke, or there is a problem with the transmission.

G six works great! have no complaints there.... HOWEVER when I turn it off it will not roll to move from room to room. so heavy it is hard to pick up. what is wrong?

Make sure that your transmission is on "N" then Kirby is off. Wheels loks then Kirby is off and transmission is on "D".

Kirby stopped working

Here is a guide to diagnosing a problem with your Kirby. I would imagine that your power cord has a short in it or the carbon brushes need replaced. You may want the take a look at my guide for replacing the power switch as well to make sure that it was hooked back up correctly.

KIRBY ISSUES! :(

sounds about right you should change that type of belt every six months to a year regardless if its broken or not. one other thing you should do is make sure the brush roll itself isn't bound up it should spin freely if not you can pull the plastic ends off the roller to clean any hair or thread out .
