Question about Computers & Internet

You have 2 options, A usb firewire card, or an Express card firewire card.
You have an express card 54 slot (there are 54 and 34 types)
The express card is a good option as most of the card is pushed into your laptop, and therefore is less prone to getting knocked. Here are a couple of examples http://www.usbnow.co.uk/p383/2_Port_Firewire_(i.Link)_Express_Card/product_info.html
Your laptop manual is here if you would like more information http://support.acer.com/acerpanam/manuals/acer/0000/userguides/Aspire_4315-4715Z_UG_EN.pdf
