You must have a shorting in the circuit which was coming on at times and has now full done. Unfortunately if if had been checked earleir maybe we could have found a bettter solution. Since the set is not poweering on now, you will have to open on the set and check for failure of the drive output. Check for dry / poor joints if so solder and go forward. if not check for fault on the transformer or the output. look on the power circuit for the same faulty connections.hope this helps, good day

Creative Gigaworks T20 (series I) Left speaker just producing noice, until I turn the Bass knob counterclockwise towards "minus" - then there is sound in the left speaker but even more noice...

The problem that developed with my Creative Gigaworks and other is that occasionally it would not play at all. When the problem occurred, I could eventually get it to work again by turning it on and off several times. I opened up the powered unit (the Right speaker with the controls and found that the wires were really crammed in there, such that a white ribbon wire connector on the bottom was straining to the point of where it was slightly cracked. While playing audio through it, if I touched that wire ribbon, the sound would cut out. So I adjusted the wires slightly to relieve any tension force on that connector and it has not had the problem since. I would open up that unit and check for a similar poor or strained connection. To open the unit, carefully pull off the fabric speaker cover straight off, remove the 4 rubber inserts in the top 4 holes, and remove all 6 philips-head screws in those deeply recessed holes.

How do you tell if a starter is going bad

The starter will drag and not turn the engine over very fast. The starter solenoid is part of the starter also. It will just click a few times before it starts turning the engine over if it is going bad. It will steadily get worse. You will have to click the starter solenoid several times before it will start after several times. Eventually it will not engage the starter.
If this helps please rate by clicking the 4 thumbs ups. Thanks!

Likely it is a bad relay. would have been easier to find when it was clicking but usually it's located with a group of other relays in a power distribution box.(under the hood)

BOOM SOUND AT AUDIO MODE CHANGE

Suggest turning the volume down on the Receiver/Amp before changing modes. Changing modes can produce signals that can hurt speakers if driving at mid-high levels.

Regarding the sub, turn off the receiver first, then turn off the sub. When turning everything on, turn on the sub first, then the receiver. If you still hear the noice in the sub, turn down the volume in the sub before turning it off (making note of what volume level you prefer for it when it is on).

Audio fade

if there is no problem with the surround sound, you have a problem with the volume regulation circuit or with the main amp of this TV set, But to say the least is you have a backup to fix your problem, with the sound system, you said it works fine. this could run ya about 250 to 400 to repair. Good luck.
