Question about Vtech V.Smile TV Learning System

Remove all Smartridges, controllers, adapter or batteries.
Examine the Smartridge slot for loose objects, Blow into it to
remove dust or debris.
Pull back the plastic sleeve on the Smartridge and clean both sides
of the metal contact with alcohol and a q-tip.
Insert the Smartridge into the Smartridge slot and remove quickly
twice without turning on the V.Smile unit.
