Sorry , the soda has shorted the mainboard. Nothing more can be done to it, it's dead.

Power does not come on

The soda is really corrosive with the metal inside the laptop. You probably have a fried capacitor that decided to work for a little bit and then shorted out again. Take it in for repairs.

The other night the headlights dimmed and the air pressure blowing out the vents dropped in pressure. This lasted for aprox 20-30 seconds then went back to normal. Well today I pulled in to get a soda

The dimming lights and fan speed sounds like a loss of power from the alternator, but could also have been a drop in engine speed.
You might want to have the computer checked for trouble codes even tho the warning light did not come on.
It could also be the alternator is failing.

My truck won't turn on not even my lights and radio the whole truck:) please help:)

Check the battery. Make sure both connections are clean and tight. If they have acid/crud on them,..use baking soda and water to clean it off. If it still doesnt work,...time to get a battery.

My battery light, gas light, seat belt light all flick on and off at the same time, whats wrong

Many times this is an indication of a poor post connection at the battery...plus or minus sides...be sure no corrosion, and tight side or top connections. As corrosion is present. disconnect thoroughly cleaning with wet baking soda, or even soda pop...lubricate with PB Blaster to help maintain a clean tight connection as you reassemble. Hope this helps.

My Acer Aspire 3610 doesn't power on...

Hi

The soda has drained from the holes of the keyboard into the mainboard inside, your laptop is ruined, you will have to buy a new machine the repair will cost around the price of a new laptop.

My child spilt soda in my purse and my canon powershot sd770 is digital elph was in it. I quikly dried it off and then powerd it up and it seemed fine, later that evening I powerd it up again and it...

Powering up a wet camera usually shorts out the circuits. Soda gets sticky as it dries and further complicates matters. Still later, the corrosive activity of the acid in the soda will eat its way through the circuits. I don't hold out much hope for your camera but if you want to take it in for repair and are willing to pay the expected high cost, go for it.

Yes, unfortunately that is what happened. Soda is the worst on a motherboard.

Will not power up at all

Laptops do not like the refreshing taste of soda.
Unfortunately what has happened here is that there will be a residue of a kind of light acid and a sticky residue on the mainboard near the power supply or processor which will be shorting it out.
if it is not cleaned soon it will begin to eat away at the board as well.
Not an easily fixed problem.
you will need to:
completely dismantle the base of the laptop (leave the screen alone unless you know soda is in it too)
Clean the plastic case with a tooth brush and soapy water (dish washing liquid)
And get a plastic container big enough to hold the main board.
Fill said container with either Isopropyl Alcohol or methylated spirits.
Dunk mainboard in the container and soak for 1/2 hour,
gently scrub clean with a clean toothbrush.
repeat as needed until all of the visible gunk is gone.
leave case and board to dry for 1 week no less.
or conversely buy a new laptop.
