Washing machine

it is possible the heater is at fault try this first / then check motor / after these there could be an exposed wire shorting on the chassis . always remove plug from mains when carring out checks . good luck

i have a whirlpool washer model #sm828069 and two days ago it just stopped after the tub filled with water just before starting a wash cycle.i took all clothing out of washer but i still have standing water.i have checked fuse box unplugged unit and still nothing.is there a possible reset button or some way that i can fix the unit without calling a repairman?
