You don't need a procedure to troubleshoot this one. Find your heater leads, disconnect both leads from the control board. Plug the fridge back in, if the GFCI holds, replace the heater. If it continues to trip, remove power from the coach, and pull the GFCI and check for moisture that might have gotten into the housing.

You can find your service manual at under service manuals.

RELIANCE ELECTRIC WATER HEATER 240 VOLT 4500 WATT the hot water is not working it will get warm once in awhile but it keeps blowing the breaker that goes to it. What else can I test and how??

If you are blowing the breaker this means that either elements are shot and causing large amounts of electricity to be needed to operate or you may be grounded somewhere.

- are the heated elements specific to your water heater?
- are the elements grounding to anything?
- is the proper voltage supplied +/- 10% of manufactures electrical rating?
- are you touching the elements with your hands ( oils may cause failure)
- if you ohm across the elements does it read resistance, a short or O.L.

  • Electrical current leak between heating element and ground; Heating element; Wiring defective;
  • Main board defective.
  • Water circuit;
When is this fault occurs than will be performed emergency drain procedure, cycle stops with door unlocked.

Whirlpool duet dryer GEW9200LW1 heats

If the element was replaced, and now verified that it is not presently shorted to ground, your next diagnostic would be to to test the timer connections per the schematic lookiong for a fused contact that energizes the heater, while set to air fluff setting.

Jacuzzi hot tub, Water is too hot. Heats until it trips the system. I have replaced the analog temperature control,

1) Safety question first
Why hasn't the GFCI tripped.
If your spa is not protected by ground fault., then you are at serious personal risk.

2) Replace the element.

3) If element is cracked, it can continue heating to ground wire, causing runaway heating.
This applies to spas, and water heaters of all type.

How can you tell if oxygen sensor is bad

Hello there and welcome to fixya
Remove the oxygen sensor connector cover and check the oxygen sensor's operational voltage. Consult your vehicle's manual to find the wiring schematic. Back probe the sensor's connector with the meter leads. Start engine again and monitor voltage readings. Voltage should switch between high and low, from approximately 0.1 to 0.9 vdc. Replace sensor if it fails this test.

Unplug the sensor connector and test the sensor's heating circuit. Using your vehicle's wiring schematic, check for 12 vdc and also for a good ground. If voltage or a ground is not present, repair circuit between connector and battery.

Measure internal resistance of the sensor's heater circuit. Check that the heater resistance is a low reading. Replace sensor if the heater resistance is infinity or extremely high.

Unplugging the sensor's connector while testing the oxygen sensor will often set fault codes and illuminate the "Check Engine" light. After all checks and repairs have been made, clear the fault codes by following the procedure in your vehicle's

HOTPOINT TDC32P Dryer - No Heat Usual story. Have found the green spot thermostat had gone open circuit but reset it. All three stats including the one over front door test for continuity. Heating element...

Could well be a intermittentt sticking relay, I have experienced this myself, fitting new relay solved the prob, I doubt you will be able to obtain a wiring diagram , in any case , you should not need one.
I would fit a new relay myself if I were you.

Every time i switch on electric in house trips off

This is most likely an electrical fault in the oven (or switch). As it is potentially dangerous - have it tested before using again.
The RCD trips out because an earth fault has occurred If it did not, the entire cooker may have become live- so it saved your life really.

It may not be as serious as this - when heating elements fail, they can short to ground -(the outside case of the element)
If this is the case - only one element will be at fault.
Test by switching on one element at a time - untill it trips again. In this case - replace that element.

Ryer not heating

If you have 110v from the timer connection to the element and ground, that is normal. You should have 240v between the two element connections. If you do, and the element is not hot, disconnect the wires from the element and check the continuity of the element. If you don't, check back thru the wiring until you find 240v. This test will show you where the fault is.

Ground fault issue

This is not an unusual issue, but an unusual fix. When appliances that use water and heating elements use a ground fault breaker, it often thinks there is a problem to ground, since it is not the regular short to ground like an element. Move it to an area that has a regular outlet, and turn it on the first time. From then on, it should work right.

Trips ground fault on plugging into receptacle

You have a leak on to and electrical component or an element that is bad. Stop using it due to possible electrical shock and take it to an authorized repair center or get a new one.
