Question about Acer Aspire One PC Notebook
Not really a problem! i just want to know if there is any way to hook my computer (aspire one)accer notebook com.to a hd tv and use the tv for my monitor? thanks for your time
This is actually a really commonly asked question to me by friends.
Short answer, yes.
Most TV's have what is known as a VGA input on the back and this looks like a small trapezoid with a bunch of holes in a three row pattern. If you have ever set up a cord from a monitor to a desktop, the process is identical. Getting a double sided VGA cord (Almost always colored blue" with two male sides (meaning that it has the pins inside the little metal piece) and plug it into the back of your television. Next, plug the other end into your laptop, assuming it has a VGA output, and power on both pieces of equipment. Make sure that your TV's input is set to VGA or computer and that your computer is set to transmit a signal, typically done by hitting "FN" F5. Now both screens which transmit the same image.
I am not very knowledgeable about your specific laptop, but you may even have an HDMI port, which means you can just buy an HDMI cord and plug it into both systems.
I hope this was helpful and apologize if it is not.
