Question about Lenovo ThinkPad T61 Notebook
You need to repair your xp by inserting the xp pro setup dvd and booting . after you boot the dvd it will ask for press any key to boot press the key it starts to boot and you will see a blue screen loading some setup files after loading it will give three options and it will ask for setup or repair or quit press enter, then press f8 it will search for any previous version of xp installed in your system(IMPORTANT : YOU NEED THE SAME VERSION OF THE SETUP DVD WHAT YOU HAVE IN SYSTEM ALREADY INSTALLED FOR EX: FOR XP SERVICE PACK 3 YOU NEED A XP SERVICE PACK THREE SETUP DVD) MAKE SURE YOU THE SAME ONE then after searching ,it will ask for repairing your winxp press r and there you go it starts to replace all the system files but it doesnt affect your files or anything that you saved in your system no formating no changes just repairing and replacing it does let me know if you have doubt :) thank you
